The Faces Behind
Aus Wild Adventures
Built from a love of remote travel, storytelling & collecting memories across Australia!
Built from a love of remote travel, storytelling & collecting memories across Australia!
We’re Bel & Jayce; the couple behind Aus Wild Adventures.
What started as a shared love for camping, fishing and road trips quickly turned into a passion for exploring Australia’s remote tracks, coastal camps and lesser-known places.
Along the way, we created Aus Wild Adventures as a place to share our travels, photography and the stories collected on the road; building a brand inspired by adventure, storytelling and the destinations that make Australia unforgettable.
From collectible destination patches and travel keepsakes to books, journals and life on the road, Aus Wild Adventures continues to grow alongside the places we explore.
After spending time off the road navigating injury, surgeries and now pregnancy, we’re preparing to hit the tracks again and continue building the next chapter of our adventures, with twins in tow!
Bel grew up in Victoria, before hitting the road at age 22 and spending several years travelling and working her way around Australia solo.
A nurse by trade, her work has taken her from healthcare facilities and classrooms to cattle stations and country pubs, but travel has always been a constant. Before meeting Jayce, Bel spent years exploring Australia solo from the back of her 76 Series LandCruiser, with a swag on the roof as home, and plenty of time spent chasing beaches, national parks, hiking trails and remote corners of the country.
She’s the creative side behind Aus Wild Adventures, combining her love of travel, photography, storytelling and design to document the places they visit and create the patches, books and keepsakes inspired by life on the road.
Jayce grew up in South Australia, where fishing and the ocean have been part of life for as long as he can remember.
He’s spent around a decade working as a cray fisherman, heading out to sea each summer - working the ocean from Kangaroo Island, all the way to the WA/SA Border. Somehow, even after months working on the water, you’ll still usually find him with a fishing rod in his hand whenever he gets the chance.
A keen camper and four-wheel-driver, Jayce loves getting off the beaten track, finding a good coastal camp and exploring somewhere new. He’s also completely footy mad and a diehard Adelaide Crows supporter, having played for local clubs himself over the years.
These days, he brings that lifelong love of the outdoors into Aus Wild Adventures, with fishing spots, remote camps, coastal tracks and the next stretch of road always high on his list.
Our littlest adventurers are currently on the way!
The twins will officially join the Aus Wild Adventures crew in 2027, ready for a childhood of road trips, campgrounds and exploring Australia alongside Mum and Dad.
Camp Companions
No adventure crew is complete without the four-legged members!
Liza, our young cat, and Jet, the laziest kelpie ever; are part of the Aus Wild Adventures family and will be joining us for plenty of life on the road.
